Man uses Your Name

We all use the name of God to prove our point. Jesus Christ is
without doubt the most interpretted and mis-interpretted man in
human history.

O God,
Man uses your name to defend his religion, against man who uses your
name to defend his.

Man uses your name to defend his church against opponents who use
your name to defend theirs.

Man uses your name to maintain the sanctity of matrimony, against
man who uses your name to propogate homosexuality.

Man uses use your name to defend male supremacy, and man uses your
name to defend equal rights for women.

Man uses your name to hold on to Tradition, and man uses your name
to tear down Tradition.

Man uses your name to seek intercession from the saints, and man
uses your name to condemn intercession to saints.

Man uses your name to pray for his departed, and man uses your name
to ignore his departed.

Man uses your name to justify his baptism as a baby, and man uses
your name to ridicule child baptism.

Man uses your name to propogate love and man uses your name to
instill venom in fellow beings.

We all are seekers of the Truth - let us all be guided by God's
living words that -
"When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all the
truth"(John 16:13)

if God used us instead of us using Him!
