Re: THE CHURCH of my Lord.

I can only agree with what you and Mrs. Eapen said, and that is
largely the point of my entire series.

I guess I did not use the correct words but what I meant was -
Just like the Father waits for the return of the prodigal son and is
pained and longs for being together once again with the prodigal son,
he who was part of the Father, but went away by his own will;

so does the Mother Church wait longingly hoping against hope, and
against all reason, that she can be one again with her children who
have separated. This longing and this love betrays an unmistakable
sadness in the face of the mother. The children who separated was
part of Her, how will the mother not be sad? Inspite of all the
abuses, and hurt and insults and ridicule, the Mother still waits
patiently for a turnaround, and hopes there is still time, for her
children to return; even as she continues witnessing her Lord in the
world. She is incomplete without them, and they are incomplete
without her. This is what I wanted to bring out.

I still do not know if I am conveying this correctly, but I did not mean to
imply that the Body of Christ has become imperfect because they went away, just
that at an emotional and physchological level, there is the scar brought about
by the wounds of separation.
