The Empty Tomb - Faith Vs Reason

Dear all,

Some thoughts:

The Empty Tomb bewildered the crucifiers of Christ, as they tried to
explain the disappearance of His body.
Just when they thought the worst was over, the High Priests and the
leaders of that day, had to deal with the nightmare of the empty
tomb. "Surely a dead body cannot just walk out!! We had the body well
guarded too!." And the testimony of the guards were proving to be
another headache. They seemed to believe they saw an angel!

As they just about succeeded in shutting up the guards from further
testifying, came regular reports that Jesus was sighted at various
places! The mystery of the empty tomb would surely have haunted them
to their own tombs, unless some of them saw reason(?!), and put it all
together and repented. We do not know for sure; all we know is that
the legacy of that one empty tomb has a lot to do in our lives today.

Those who place their trust in Him rejoice at the memory of the
empty tomb sighted first on that blessed First Easter Morning. Those
who do not, try in vain to explain the disappearance of the body even today.
The empty tomb proves as a stumbling block for many of us today as we
try to use Science to analyse God.
While God is not against reason\scientific analysis, God cannot
be "derived" as a conclusion of a Scientific Experiment - simply
because He is beyond (our sense of) reason, as He is the source of
our sense of reasoning.

So which side are we? In our hearts, do we say - " He is not Here,
for He is risen."(Faith)
think hard, or do we have an inkling to say "Maybe, just maybe, His
disciples got in and took away His body"(reason)
